Sigh, ducks lose; America wins

i am too lazy and upset to report that the ducks continue their win one, lose one mode. tonight they lost to the rangers, and continue to ask the question, are they an elite team? the answer is still no. i heard on the radio this man say they are a better playoff team, than regular season team. unfortunately, you have to play well during the regular season, to have a playoff chance.
Now on a better note, today Barack Obama was sworn in as our 44th president of the united states. hopefully, if things don’t change for the ducks, at least there’ll be change in the government!

Ducks beat the devil out of New Jersey!

It was anight of strange goals and bizarre plays, but in the end the ducks beat the devils in only thier third match up since Scott Neidermeyer joined the team 3 years ago! Onee of the more memorable goals was done by ofcourse Bobby Ryan, and he did a sidney crosby-esque slide and score! jiggy was in goal and still doesnt have his sea legs but hopefully he gets things warmed and running after the all star game!

well after the spectacular display by Bobby Ryan the other night against the Queens, tonight’s game against Tampa looked like a kiddie show! the ducks were flat, and looked like they were sleep walking! aside from some Socratic show of life from Ebbett, Kunitz and Ryan, the Ducks seemed like if they could care less as to what was going on around them. We can not expect to win games if we’re always trailing and giving up 4 goals! You cant do it! back to the drawing board! We need points boys, otherwise expect some early golfing this year!

Queenies too much for Saving Ryan!

well last night was a rare occasion. Not because we lost; gosh knows thats not rare! but it was a loss that was not so bad. mainly due in part to the performance by bobby ryan! yes, RYAN! this kid is too much. he has scored in every game since coming back up from the AHL. Largely due in part to last nights sick performance. the ducks were down 3-0 as the period number 2 was winding down and then out of nowhere Ryan scores! 3-1 to end it. Top of the 3rd period, he scores once more, and then finally just under 3 minutes after the first 2 goals, he score a natural hat trick!! not only in under 3 minutes but the fastest in ducks history! Sign this kid now and keep him in a ducks uniform for as long as we can!!

Ducks beat the Queens!

this post is short and sweet cause i am tired, but tonight the Kings only mustered 17 shots on goal that Hiller easily disposed of. Bobby Ryan continues to soar as a Duck, Scott Neidermeyer continues to be Mr. Incredible, and Getz still looks like the franchise! Player of the game tonight was most defintley Sammy Phalson! This guy is decievingly strong and has fun scoring; although it is rare to see him score a goal! Go Ducks!

ducks shut out the yotes!!!

welll the ducks bounced back from their loss the other night, by blanking the yotes! it was a good game and just before it started i was talking about how jiggy hasnt been the same since his dad died, and how i would have put Hiller in net in the 3rd against the Fliers. well low and behold, Hiller was in goal and got another shut out!!!! Go Hiller!! the ducks beat the coyotes and hopefully can duplicate that win on tuesday against the Queens!

All stars, and suspensions!

well the ducks and the blackhawks are representing the west this year for the all star game. not since paul karyia have the ducks had a player voting in by the fan, so its even better that this year there are 3 voted in. Scott Neidermeyer (in what might be his last year as a player for the ducks), Jiggy, and Ryan (the franchise) Getzlaf will be starters for the western conference all stars!

In other news, Corey Perry was handed a 4 game suspension by the NHL for the double minor he gave out the other night against Philly. According to the nhl, his elbow was up in the face area, and because the NHL is being real tight on head shots, Perry must face consequences. When it rains it pores eh duck fans??
